Great design delivers results.

Just ask MTV, Coca-Cola, EA SPORTS, Usher, and Mariah Carey. I’ve worked with them all and more to create designs that engage audiences and drive results.

Let’s do the same for you.

Aimee’s Story

My interest in design and illustration was sparked at an early age, thanks to the album covers in my father’s collection. I heard lots of great music and became fascinated by the challenge of communicating through a single image.

Early in my career, I worked heavily in prepress, production, and printing. This hands-on experience helped me understand how to turn ideas into real, tangible experiences and set the stage for my future work.

Later, my journey moved into music merchandise, where my design approach helped iconic artists like The Doors, The Beatles, and others capture new audiences and secure premium retail placements, driving substantial revenue growth. This work sparked even more appreciation for pop culture history and sharpened my focus for revitalizing brands by honoring their past while positioning them for future success with today’s audiences.

Plot Twist!

However, success took an unexpected turn when focal dystonia struck. This neurological movement disorder left me unable to use my dominant drawing hand. Facing this challenge pushed me to discover new ways to channel my creativity and adapt my skills, deepening my understanding of storytelling and design as tools for connection.

Since then, my work has continued to reach national audiences, from a permanent art installation in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park to a Janet Jackson documentary seen by millions. Additional collaborations with brands like Gillette, Coca-Cola, and Campbell’s, plus contributions to major video game franchises like Madden NFL, Battlefield, and Plants vs. Zombies, spanning retail, digital, and in-game campaigns. I even produced my own podcast to share the stories of other amazing creators I’ve met along the way.

My latest project, Portraits of Excellence, is an illustrated tribute to the Black creators whose artistry shaped our music, style, and culture. It’s a 30-year journey that brings together illustration and education to honor their contributions and spark new conversations about influence, recognition, and cultural impact.

My career and personal journey have all shaped my approach to design, combining creativity with strategic insight and technical knowledge. I understand that great design is more than just visual appeal; it’s about problem-solving, adaptability, and purpose; from first concept to final delivery.

Originally from the Detroit area, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife, Megan, and our two cats, one in charge of studio morale, the other in charge of general mischief.
